Tuition Plateau is applied to Full Time Undergraduates during the Fall and Spring semesters.  The Tuition Plateau is a flat rate defined by the classification of the Undergraduate.  Please review the Undergraduate Fall/Spring tuition and fee schedule for the appropriate Tuition Plateau.

Tuition is normally assessed according to their class standing (ie: students pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing will be assessed the Undergraduate Nursing rates for all classes taken).  For students in the HPU Concurrent Program, their tuition will be assessed in accordance with their class standing along with the following rules:

The per credit charge will be according to the course level (Undergraduate courses will be charged the Undergraduate rate, Graduate courses will be charged the Graduate rate)

Full-Time Concurrent (12-16 billed credit hours)

No change to charges

Full-Time Concurrent (16+ billed credit hours)

Tuition Plateau for the first 16 billed credit hours, each additional credit above 16 will be assessed the Graduate course rate

Military Concurrent

The Military Waiver is not available for Graduate courses. Military Concurrent students will receive the Military Waiver for Undergraduate courses and be charged the Graduate rate for Graduate courses but no Military Waiver available for those courses.

  • By registering for courses, Hawaii‘i Pacific University students agree to comply with all requirements for registration and fulfill all financial obligations related to enrollment.

  • Students are not automatically dropped from courses for non-attendance. The responsibility to drop courses belongs to the student. Students must drop all of their courses before the published deadline for the term or session in order to cancel registration, and receive a 100% tuition refund. Should the student drop the courses after the 100% tuition refund period has passed, the student is responsible for a portion or all of the dropped credits as outlined in the Academic Calendar.
