Think you can design something amazing? 

Register for the HPU Scarpa Entrepreneurial Pathway Makerspace Competition by March 12 to find out! 

Whether you join solo or as a team, you’ll create or improve a product design, access the tools in the Makerspace, and present to industry professionals and business leaders. 

 
What to Expect

  • Categories: Unique design categories (details coming soon — stay tuned!). 

  • Equipment Access: Use 3D printers, laser cutters, and more in the HPU Makerspace. 

  • Networking: Share your ideas with innovators and business leaders. 

Key Dates

  • Now–March 16: Complete Makerspace safety exam + equipment training. 

  • March 12: Registration deadline 

  • March 13: Assigned challenge emailed to participants 

  • March 16–April 2: Competition period 

  • April 2: Judging + Awards 

Prizes

  • 1st Place: $1,000 per team (each category) 

  • 2nd Place: $500 per team (each category) 

  • All other participants: $20 Amazon gift card (for those who do not place first or second)
