Honoring the Legacy of Giving
At Hawai‘i Pacific University, we believe in the enduring impact of thoughtful generosity. The Malāma Legacy Society was established to recognize and honor those visionary individuals who have made a commitment to support HPU through their estate plans or other types of planned gifts.
Named for the Hawaiian value of malāma—to care for, to preserve, to protect—the Society celebrates those who ensure that future generations of HPU students will thrive in a world shaped by compassion, leadership, and innovation.
Membership in The Malāma Legacy Society
You become a member of the Malāma Legacy Society when you inform us that you have included HPU in your will, trust, beneficiary designation, or other planned gift arrangement. Your gift, of any size, reflects a powerful commitment to our mission and values.
Planned gifts may include:
- A bequest in your will or living trust
- Naming HPU as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy
- Creating a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust
- Other arrangements that support HPU in the future
