HPU was proud to serve as a Platinum Sponsor of the 68th annual Distinguished Young Women of Hawaiʻi scholarship program. Founded in 1958 by the Mobile Jaycees, Distinguished Young Women encourages young women to reach their full individual potential through scholarship opportunities and life skills development.
HPU Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management Sara Sato served as a judge, while Director of Admissions Quincey “Q” Otuafi represented the university at the Aug. 23 event. As part of its support, HPU offered tuition scholarships to top award recipients through the program, helping expand access to higher education.
