Admissions Requirements
GENERAL TRANSFER ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Students who are transferring from other universities or colleges must have a preferred minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of a 2.5 for admissions and have submitted official transcripts from each previously attended school.
Admission to Hawai'i Pacific University will be based solely on post-secondary record, if 24 or more transferable university-level credits have been completed. Students with fewer than 24 transferable credits must provide high school transcripts for evaluation purposes. These students will be evaluated primarily on their high school records, similar to the evaluation of incoming freshmen. While the cumulative GPA is used to decide admission into HPU, only credits from previous regionally-accredited colleges will transfer.
It is recommended that transfer students apply by the priority date or at least three months prior to the start of the term in which they are interested unless otherwise noted by academic program.
Program Specific

Students with a science and mathematics GPA less than 2.0 will not be admitted into these majors.
