Next Steps: Financial

COMPLETE Your FAFSA

We encourage every eligible family to apply for federal student aid to help pay for college. Click the button above to access the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you’ve already filed your FAFSA, review your financial aid status by double-checking that you’ve submitted all paperwork, and satisfied the requirements.

Check your HPU email and MyHPU Portal regularly to ensure you've satisfied any requirements necessary to receive aid.

FOLLOW PATH: my.hpu.edu > Student Services (blue navigation bar on the left) > Financial Aid > Offer/Requirements

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid regarding questions about your federal aid, award and/or other scholarships status and ALWAYS include YOUR NAME AND HPU STUDENT ID NUMBER in all communications. Visit the Financial AId Home Page for more information.

1. REVIEW OUR ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Mark the Tuition Payment Deadline of AUGUST 12, 2024 on your calendar.

  • Students are responsible for paying tuition less any anticipated financial aid, scholarships, loans, military benefits, discounts, or other aid and benefits in full by the tuition due date, or be enrolled in a payment plan before this date.

2. SEE A SAMPLE EBILL

REVIEW YOUR FIRST EBILL STATEMENT IN EARLY JULY

  • Beginning in early July, HPU will create eBill Statements for you at least once a month and will send an email letting you know your eBill Statement is ready (to your my.hpu.edu email). Learn more about your eBill Statement here.

3. CONSIDER A PAYMENT PLAN

IS A PAYMENT PLAN RIGHT FOR YOU?

Enrolling in a monthly payment plan gives you the ability to conveniently distribute your portion of tuition and fees across manageable monthly installments. Payment plans also help you avoid high interest rates normally seen with traditional loans.

The cost to you is a small, non-refundable enrollment fee of $65 (Fall or Spring terms) and $35 (Summer term) for each term you wish to enroll in a payment plan.

Enrollment opens the first week of July, after charges post and after you have received your first eBill Statement.

FALL PAYMENT PLANS & ENROLLMENT SCHEDULE:

ENROLLMENT PERIOD:
First week of July – July 14

*A tuition adjustment means that a tuition charge is reversed (or credited) to the student’s account, resulting in a smaller overall amount owed to the University. Students are liable for all course fees. Refunds will be issued automatically if the account balance overall is negative. For eligible students, refund processing time is 4-6 weeks from the drop date.
