When you request official high school or college transcripts, have the institution send them to HPU directly. Unfortunately, we cannot accept transcripts that are sent to HPU by students and parents. Dual credits and other official exam scores such as SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP, IB, etc. should also be sent to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.

The HPU UniCard serves as the official photo identification for students, faculty, and staff and is required. It contains a color photo, as well as a computer-generated identification number and a magnetic strip that allows students access to facilities on campus. More information on student ID cards can be found here.

Upload a photo to your student portal. This step must be done online in order to receive an HPU student ID and UPASS (student bus pass). Please read and and adhere to the photo requirements below so your HPU ID is programmed properly to access campus facilities.

Visiting International StudentS
- May receive their HPU student ID and UPASS AFTER successful immigration reporting with OISS.
- Immigration Check-In Hours: 8:30am HST - 4:00pm HST, Monday - Friday (except university holidays).
- Click the button below for instructions on how to upload your photo for the HPU UniCard.
PHOTO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Should be cropped slightly above head to middle of chest (you will have the opportunity to crop and rotate photos during the upload process).
- Should be taken against a plain white background.
- Must be a color photo.
- Must not include sunglasses, hat, mask, or other facial covering.
- Must be faced directly towards the camera, with eyes open.
- Your photo cannot be enhanced in any way: no lenses, filters, text, emoji, stickers, etc. and cannot contain other individuals or pets.
State of Hawaii‘i law mandates that certain health requirements be cleared before students can enter into postsecondary institutions (Hawaii‘i Administrative Rules, Title 11, Department of Health, Chapter 157 Examination and Immunization) which may be found here.

Ensure your relevant immunization and medical records are safely and securely transferred to HPU.

Directly upload an image of your personal immunization records from your phone/tablet, or computer, OR download and print/scan/upload forms D and E below.
Have a licensed medical provider complete Forms D and E, then scan and upload them to Med+Proctor.
