A total of 960 graduates will earn their degrees this spring, making it HPU's largest graduating class in over 20 years.

HPU will celebrate the accomplishments of its spring class of 2026 with two graduation ceremonies on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, Mid-Pacific Conference Center, Coral Ballroom.

A total of 960 graduates will earn their degrees, marking HPU’s largest graduating class in over 20 years, with over 100 students earning their Associate of Arts (A.A) degrees in the University’s dual-credit program

In a historic milestone, HPU will graduate its first (4) students of its Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program. That program, launched six years ago, is only the second APA-accredited PsyD program in Hawai‘i, underscoring HPU’s commitment to academic excellence and the preparation of future clinical psychologists. The PsyD program is housed in the College of Liberal Arts.

HPU President John Gotanda, J.D., will deliver remarks and confer degrees and HPU Acting Provost Brenda Jensen, Ph.D., will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

The schedule for both ceremonies is as follows (all degrees, all levels):

10:00 a.m.

  • College of Business
  • College of Liberal Arts
  • School of Nursing

4:00 p.m.

  • College Natural and Computational Sciences
  • College of Professional Studies (including dual-credit graduates)
  • Graduate College of Health Sciences

Both commencement ceremonies will be live streamed at: www.hpu.edu/graduation

Undergraduate valedictory speakers are Samuel Irsfeld and Leila Tewahade. Graduate valedictory speakers are Genny Cassel and Aaron Yeip.
