Our Team

We’re the people behind your campus living experience! The Housing team is here to support students, foster a sense of community, and host events that make living on campus fun, welcoming, and memorable. Get to know the staff who help make your dorm feel like home.

The Hawaii Pacific University Housing team is comprised of both full time staff members and undergraduate paraprofessionals. Our team works collaboratively to provide facilities, services, and events that support and enhance the quality of life for students living on campus. 

• Area Coordinators are full-time professionals, who work and reside in each of our communities. They serve as supervisors to the Community Advisors, assist with upholding community standards and housing operations. Area Coordinators serve on call to support student concerns at all times. 
  
• Community Advisors are undergraduate paraprofessionals that work in the buildings, hold events for our residential students, serve on a duty rotation and report to area coordinators. 
• Front Desk Assistants are hourly staff that function as receptionists in or out of the central office, assist with problem solving, and streamlining questions to appropriate staff and resources.
