"My name is Kawika Haglund, and I am thankful to be starting this year at HPU as your Chaplain. I was born in Kailua, Oahu and moved to Bellingham, Washington when I was seven. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in English and French and later attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California where I received a Master of Divinity. I love studying God’s Word, surfing, playing music and spending time with family and friends.

I am here to partner with students, faculty, and staff for their spiritual flourishing by connecting them to local congregations, assisting in weekly chapel services, and meeting one on one to journey with them toward God. Please feel free to reach out and schedule a time to meet with me."
