First Year and Transfer

Step 1 - Student Portal

Receive MyHPU username via email and create password.
Haven’t received your personal email address and username? Click here to confirm your identity if you know the email address associated with your application.

Step 2 - Financial Aid

Create an FSA ID.
Complete the FAFSA.
HPU’s school code is 007279.


Step 3 - Enrollment Deposit

Submit $200 non-refundable enrollment deposit via You will need your student ID number.


Step 4 - Housing Application

Available in March for deposited first-year and transfer students.
Information on housing options can be found here.
Access your housing application via MyHPU.


Step 5 - Health Requirements

Review health clearance requirements HERE.

Complete a Tuberculosis, measles, mumps, and rubella health clearance form D.
Complete the TDAP, MCV, VCV immunization form (form E) OR TB Risk Assessment (FORM F

Hawai’i Pacific University has partnered with Med+Proctor for the submission of immunization records.


Step 6 - Transcripts and Test Scores

Submit all final official high school and college transcripts. Official transcripts must be sent, either electronically, or via mail, directly from the school. We cannot accept transcripts as official if they are not received directly from the school.

Submit all final official exam scores to the Office of Admissions (ex: SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP, IB, etc.).

Students who choose not to submit test scores or applicable transfer credit will need to take Writing and Math Placement tests so we can help you register for the appropriate courses you need.  PLACEMENT TESTS can be taken at HPU or remotely.

Step 7 - Registration
