POSSIBLE THREAT TO THE COMMUNITY

In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Campus Security is giving notice of suspicious activity in the area.

 

REPORTED OFFENSE: On Tuesday, March 19th at 2:39 p.m., HPU Security at Upper Bishop reported that the man who pushed the security officer at noon at the HPU Shuttle Stop at Kukui and Beretania had returned and confronted an HPU student. No injuries were reported.

HPD was notified and the male who was described as dark skinned, black curly hair and approximately 5’ 10” and 155-160 pounds, wearing grey-colored shorts and no shirt with bare feet, was arrested.  

Be aware and cognizant of your surroundings and if anything suspicious is seen, please report to HPU security (544-1400) or the Honolulu Police Department. (911) and notify police.
