BIOGRAPHY: Dr. Collazo-Vargas has over a decade of experience in public health education and research. She has worked and volunteered with diverse professionals and communities in sexual health research, promotion and education.

TEACHING INTERESTS: Dr. Collazo-Vargas has taught courses on Public Health Communication, Drugs and Society, Sexuality in Health and Society, Culture and Health, Global Health, Health Policy Analysis as well as the Pre-Practicum and Practicum courses in the undergraduate Public Health program. She also regularly teaches courses on Health Behavior Theories, Social Determinants of Health, and the Capstone Courses in the Master of Public Health Program.
