Dr. Crusoe lives in Portland, Oregon, and is currently participating in the Faculty Development Residency through Duke University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and completed an orthopedic residency through Evidence In Motion. He has extensive experience treating musculoskeletal conditions in outpatient orthopedic practice.

Dr. Crusoe's clinical interests include the management of spinal pain disorders, particularly low back-related leg pain and neck-related arm pain. His advanced orthopedic training has focused on musculoskeletal examination, differential diagnosis, and rehabilitation of orthopedic conditions across a broad range of patient populations. He is passionate about evidence-informed physical therapy practice and the integration of current research into clinical decision-making.

Through his faculty development training, Dr. Crusoe is developing expertise in teaching, curriculum design, mentorship, and health professions education. He is committed to preparing future physical therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering lifelong learning and professional growth. Prior to starting the Faculty Development Residency with Duke he served as an adjunct professor at HPU for 3 years.

When not working, Dr. Crusoe enjoys trail running, cycling, hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, and reading books on philosophy, leadership, and personal development.
