Dr. Robyn Otty lives in Henderson, Nevada a suburb directly adjacent to Las Vegas. As a resident of Nevada since 1997, she has witnessed the direct growth and opportunity for occupational therapists in the area.  

 

Dr. Ottyʻs professional life represents a career as a generalist with clinical experience serving the occupational needs of children in a school district and adults/older adults in acute rehabilitation and outpatient settings. As an academic since 2007, Dr. Otty has demonstrated her commitment to strengthening her leadership skills, expanding her scholarly interests related to transition-age adolescents individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and enhancing the learning experiences for graduate students. Most recently, Dr. Otty is interested in exploring how to strengthen workplace culture in academia. Dr. Otty has presented nationally on several topics related to her clinical background and research interests. In 2020, she received the distinguished Fellow Award from the American Occupational Therapy Association.  

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching documentary and action movies, crafting, exercising, cheering on the St. Louis Blues hockey team, and hitting balls at the local golf range.
