Day in the Life Videos
HPU is collecting student-shot video/social content to use in upcoming marketing materials, admitted-student events, social media, and digital campaigns. We’re looking for authentic, everyday moments that show what life at HPU is really like — on campus, downtown, in labs, in residence halls, and around Hawaiʻi.
This opportunity is open to current HPU undergraduate students only (any year, any major). We’re especially looking for a mix of local students, mainland transplants, first-generation college students, and those in programs like Nursing and Marine Science, but all current undergrads are welcome to participate.
We want to see your real life, not staged or overly aspirational content. Show us how you actually live, study, and make it work at HPU — honest moments, real spaces, and everyday experiences.
Students whose submissions are selected for use will receive up to a $75 Visa gift card ($25 for submitting + $50 if chosen).
All submissions are due by January 17, 2026.
What to Submit
- 1 edited segment containing multiple clips, ~1 minute in duration
- Vertical video preferred (1080x1920)
- Content should feature real HPU students and reflect campus life, classes, labs, living on Oʻahu, or your day-to-day experience.
- Must feature academics in some way (even if it's your favorite study spot)
guidelines
- No alcohol or profanity
- No illegal activities (including illegal hikes)
- No copyrighted music unless it’s native to Instagram/TikTok
- Incorporate HPU swag (t-shirts, bags, cups) when possible
