Step 1 - Student Portal

Receive MyHPU username and create password via email.
Haven’t received your personal email address and username? Click here to confirm your identity if you know the email address associated with your application.

 

Step 2 - Enrollment Deposit

Log into MyHPU.
Submit $200 enrollment deposit via Flywire. Click HERE for instructions.

 

Step 3 - Request I-20

Submit a request to have your I-20 created.
Learn more about the I-20 process.

 

Step 4 - Statement of Financial Sponsorship

Submit your Statement of Financial Sponsorship (SFS) to i20@hpu.edu.

 

Step 5 - Bank Statement

Submit an official bank statement, with an issued date within 9 months or less from the semester start date to i20@hpu.edu showing that you (or a sponsor) have an account which holds sufficient funds to cover the total estimated costs as per the SFS form in Step 4. TOTAL ESTIMATED COSTS.

 

Step 6 - Housing Application

Available March for deposited first-year, transfer, and graduate students.

Access your housing application via MyHPU.

 

Step 5 - Health Requirements

Review health clearance requirements HERE.

Complete a Tuberculosis, measles, mumps, and rubella health clearance form D.
Complete the TDAP, MCV, VCV immunization form (form E) OR TB Risk Assessment (FORM F

Hawai’i Pacific University has partnered with Med+Proctor for the submission of immunization records.

International students submitting forms requesting a U.S. State & License Number can be left blank upon submission if you are located outside of the U.S. The original documents must be signed upon arrival to HPU. This can be done at HPU’s Health Clinic.

 

 

Step 8 - Transcripts and Test Scores

Submit all final official transcripts to Admissions.
Submit all final official exam scores to Admissions (ex: SAT, ACT, AP, IB, CLEP, DANTES, TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, GMAT, GRE, etc.).

Students who choose not to submit test scores, or applicable transfer credit, will need to take Writing and Math Placement tests so we can help you register for the appropriate courses you need.  PLACEMENT TESTS can be taken at HPU or remotely. 

 

Step 9 - Registration

Once your transfer credit has been evaluated, or we have your standardized or placement test scores, you can register for classes.  RESOURCES & VIDEOS ON REGISTERING FOR CLASSES  and CONNECT WITH YOUR ACADEMIC ADVISOR.

 

Step 10 - Orientation

First-year and transfer students register for New Student Orientation.
Attend Mandatory IMMIGRATION SESSION.

 

Step 11 - Books

Purchase your books and HPU gear at the bookstore.
