Hawaiʻi Pacific University is honored to receive the 2026 Liberty Award from U.S. Army MWR, a testament to the university’s dedication and service to the U.S. Army Hawaii community.  This recognition highlights HPU's efforts to enhance the lives of soldiers and their families, particularly through its active involvement in the 2025 Newcomers Events, attended by Rachel Jones, Assistant Director of Admissions, Military Campus Programs.

The award reflects the university's ongoing commitment to building strong relationships within the military community and ensuring that soldiers are welcomed and supported as they transition to Hawaiʻi and beyond. It also reinforces HPU’s strong partnership with the U.S. Army and sets the stage for future collaborations.
