School of Social Work (SWRK) students and faculty, together with international visiting groups, the League of Japan Social Work social workers, graduate students from Hokusei Gakuen University in Hokkaido, and friends and community members, visited the Āina Wellness Academy in Makiki Valley for the SWRK bi-annual culturally-based service learning activity day. Participants felt honored during this meaningful encounter. The exchange of knowledge and experiences further strengthened our bonds, fostering a spirit of laulima-collaboration and cultural understanding.
