PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Hawai‘i Pacific University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is the first of its kind in Hawai‘i. The Program is delivered in 24-months using a hybrid format, combining the best of online learning with in-person lab immersions located at HPU's beautiful downtown Honolulu campus. The hybrid format allows students to live where they choose while enrolled in the program. Students take no more than four courses during each 8-week academic term to optimize learning.

Candidate for Accreditation is an accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates the program may matriculate students in technical/professional courses. Achievement of Candidate for Accreditation status does not assure that the program will be granted Initial Accreditation.
