HUI SRC OVERVIEW



HPU Undergraduate Infrastructure Student Research Center (HUI SRC)

 

Vision: A healthy biomedical research pipeline and graduate school and career pathways for HPU undergraduate students (university-wide).



Mission: To promote a sense of science identity, readiness to lead research, matriculation to research-oriented graduate programs, and link to scientific workforce.



Goals: Leverage entrepreneurial research to attract, train, and mentor HPU underrepresented undergraduate students into biomedical research; prepare them for graduate school; and link them to the scientific workforce.



Objective: Develop, implement and evaluate an entrepreneurial student research center at HPU. (Modeled after the ASCEND SRC at Morgan State University).
