Sustainability Idea Sprint and Service
September 11, 2026
01:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Center for Marine Debris Research
It would take over 500 years to get rid of the plastics washing up on Hawaiian shores. Learn about local marine debris, work hands-on with others sorting recyclable and non-recyclable plastics to understand the difference (approx 1 hour), and then engage in an idea sprint to come up with different uses for these plastics (from roadways to consumer goods). Space limited to first 25 respondents.
RSVP Here by September 9th. Food provided and student transportation may be available.
