Our keynote speaker:

Quentin Koch is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University, where he studied Travel Industry Management. He began his career at United Airlines while still a student at HPU. Over the course of 20 years with United, he held various positions, including Director of Sales and Marketing for Guam and Micronesia. In this role, he developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies for travel between Asia, the US mainland, and destinations such as Guam, Saipan, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.

Koch has also served as Director of Inflight for United Japan and as Vice President of Air Service Development for the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA). In the latter role, he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and developing strategies to increase air service to RTAA.

In 2017, Koch returned to Hawaii to become United Airlines' Director of Operations for the Hawaiian Islands. In this position, he oversaw all United airport operations for the company's 1,000+ employees based in Hawaii. Currently, Koch serves as the CEO of Blue Hawaiian, Hawaii's largest helicopter and activity company.

Koch attributes his success to the strong foundation provided by HPU, which taught him how to navigate the international economy.
