Event description:

Poetry reading followed by discussion. Award-winning poets Juliet Kono, Jean Toyama, Ann Inoshita, and Christy Passion will share What We Must Remember (Bamboo Ridge Press, 2017) their latest volume of renshi (linked poems) on the 1931-32 Massie/Kahahawai case in Ali‘iolani Hale, the building where the historic trials took place.

 

HPU students taking Fall 2018 Gen Ed courses encouraged to attend. Have them RSVP to Professor Soong at msoong@hpu.edu by 10/15/18 5:00 p.m.
