Join the College of Liberal Arts on Monday, February 12 5:30-7:30 p.m. in ATM MPR 3 for our first interdisciplinary symposium of the spring semester. Our topic this time will be North Korea: The Threat; the Reaction; the Perception. Faculty from the College of Liberal Arts will be analyzing the real and perceived threat of North Korea and how the press and people in Hawai’i engaged in divergent reporting and reactions to the false missile alert. Our discussants include expert faculty with a long history with the intelligence community and threat analysis. All members of the HPU Community are welcome to join us for what will be a very timely and informative discussion.
