Darlene Ramos Recognized with Ke Kaukahi Award Honorable Mention

Darlene Ramos, Coordinator and Advisor, Dual-Credit Programs, always greets her students and coworkers with a smile when she sees them face-to-face. She consistently reaches out to see if she can help her coworkers with tasks. Most recently, she assisted in creating block-registration schedules for incoming freshmen for other academic advisors, applying her extensive knowledge and skills. 

She continuously offered follow-up assistance to our students and advisors with a genuine desire to improve the students' initial experience with HPU. Darlene is helping our incoming students understand that HPU cares about them as individuals, and we are welcoming them as `ohana.
