By-the-Numbers: A Story of HPU Libraries Resources and Services

By Elizabeth Torres, HPU Libraries, Head of Public Services

This spring semester, the Libraries already robust digital infrastructure made for a smooth transition during changes necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our HPU Libraries By-the-Numbers infographic highlights select library resources and services that enhance the experience of the HPU community. The library collection boasts thousands of ebooks, over one hundred databases, and a multitude of research guides crafted specifically for HPU's academic disciplines and courses. Librarians are continuing to offer classroom instruction in an online format, group or one-on-one virtual research consultations, and reference help via email, phone, and our 24/7 chat service.

Behind the scenes, librarians continue to build and curate our collections and ensure access to all of our electronic resources. Library staff are also securing interlibrary loans, sharing news about updates to the libraries, and doing our part to keep visitors to our physical locations safe. The impact of the Libraries goes beyond numbers, as our team works on multiple projects to have positive interactions online. Attend an upcoming book club meeting, or check out our Insta for de-stress DIY activities, and be part of our story!
