The TESOL Program is hosting Dr. Abrar Qureshi, a Fulbright scholar from Pakistan funded by the Fulbright Outreach Lecturing Fund to visit HPU, and members of the HPU 'ohana are invited to meet with him to explore possible collaboration initiatives with his university in Pakistan.
About Dr. Abrar Qureshi
Dr. Abrar Hussain Qureshi is a Fulbright research scholar at the linguistics Department University of North Texas. He is working on a corpus of Pakistani English. He has been a postdoc researcher in CARE University of Birmingham United Kingdom 2019 and is a certified ELT professional from University of Oregon USA. He teaches Applied and Corpus Linguistics in the department of English at the University of Sahiwal Pakistan.
About the University of Sahiwal, Pakistan
The university has a strong tradition of research and learning. The English department has hosted many international scholars including those from Germany and China. International scholars are welcome to the University of Sahiwal for collaboration in research and cultural exchange.
