SNA: Guatemala Medical Mission Trip

Details:

First or second year nursing students may work alongside medical professionals to assist with distributing and sorting medication, assisting with rehabilitation exercises, feeding, bathing and keeping patients company. The third year nursing students through to qualified health professionals may shadow local doctors and nurses, assist with check-ups, triage, taking vitals and preparing medical equipment. Students will have a morning or afternoon shift, which will last around 2 to 4 hours.
