College of Professional Studies Graduation Speaker: Jessi Benedict

Jessi Benedict will earn the Master’s in Public Administration degree from Hawai'i Pacific University while also completing two years as an active-duty Green to Gold Cadet through the U.S. Army ROTC program. She previously served in a unit at Fort Shafter, and before joining the Army, she held a civilian job in athletic training and soft tissue therapy. Originally from Richmond, Indiana, during Benedict’s time in Hawai'i, she has volunteered with the Hawaii Special Olympics. This May, she will leave the islands and commission as an Officer in the U.S. Army, reporting to the Basic Officer Leader Course to prepare for her new role.
