    Jessica Hankins

    Jessica is a Master of Science in Marine Science student who is working on pioneering coral research at HPU. She is using a Raman spectrometer that uses lasers to analyze coral reefs and marine debris found off Hawai'i’s waters and on its beaches.

    Ken Schoolland

    Economics Professor Ken Schoolland has been a professor at HPU for over 40 years. He is the author of "The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible," one of the most successful books on economics in recent memory. Professor Schoolland is one of the most popular professors at HPU and his door is always open.

    Christopher Gooch '12

    Christopher was born and raised in New Jersey and was always interested in cooking and entrepreneurship. When he arrived in Hawai'i to study for his entrepreneurial business degree, he found a perfect fit to match his culinary background and business interests. Christopher graduated from HPU in 2012, and he currently is the co-owner of Hearthly Burger in New Jersey.
