Submitting Graduate Professional Papers


Departments may submit Graduate Professional Papers to be hosted in the HPU Libraries' Digital Collections (Open Access ONLY).  Of note, the scope of this service is limited to works that are submitted in support of a candidature for a degree or program completion, presenting the author's research and findings.


When submitting a thesis/professional, you must ensure the following:

  • A completed and signed release form accompany the work.
  • The work must be in text-searchable PDF format.
  • The title page must include the following:
    • Title
    • Student's Name
    • Item Type (Thesis, Professional Paper, Capstone, etc.)
    • Degree
    • Program or Department 
    • College 
    • Institution (Hawaii Pacific University)
    • Location (Honolulu, Hawaii)
    • Publication Date (Semester & Year)

  • An abstract is required and should immediately follow the title page.  There is no word limit.


Departments and programs are responsible for the formatting and style requirements of the graduate work submitted.
