Students will check in at the Check-In Tent on Wednesday, August 22. At this time, students will receive their name tag and packet. Check-in is located at Aloha Tower Marketplace (1 Aloha Tower Drive, Honolulu, HI 96813).

All new, undergraduate students are charged the fall new student orientation of $120. This amount is charged to students' accounts in July. New freshmen, transfer and visiting international students are required to attend new student orientation.

Family members/guests are welcome to attend fall new student orientation alongside their student; however, it is not required. One (1) guest can attend free of charge; additional guests will be assessed a $30.00 fee.

If you are a family member/guest, we encourage you to get familiar with the family fall schedule to determine what sessions you may want to attend. The most popular topics for family members and guests have historically been sessions related to financial resources and campus safety.

Students and guests are welcome to drive and park at Aloha Tower Marketplace; however, HPU does not validate parking in any parking lot or structure. If driving and parking for orientation, it is highly encouraged that you search for local parking structures and rates prior to the date.

There is parking available at Aloha Tower Marketplace at the rate of $3.00 per half hour (or $30.00 per day). Alternative options to parking downtown are to utilize TheBus (local bus system on Oahu) or check out the university Shuttle Schedule.
