    ide for development into a botanical garden. Plant collections occupy 60 a

    concepts (requiring litte or no irrigation) are used to transform this dry
     landscape into a garden where plants suited to desert-like conditions can
     flourish. Students will enjoy a two-hour tour of the garden and will lear
    n more about its creation and the plants in the space. 

The path in the
     garden is uneven and has loose rocks. Students should wear appropriate du
    rable footwear and bring a water bottle\, a hat and sunscreen. Please make
