HPU Model United Nation Team Awarded ‘Honorable Mention Delegation’

Ten students from HPU’s United Nations Club, accompanied by professor Serge Marek, Ph.D.,  attended the National Model United Nations in Washington, D.C., held from November 8-10, 2019. They represented the Kingdom of Norway in seven different committees in the conference, discussing global issues such as the refugee crisis and marine debris, and won the “Honorable Mention Delegation” Award. They also had the opportunity to visit the Norwegian Embassy and learn about Norway’s stances on certain issues while they were at the capital.
