Economics Professor Presents in China and Meets with His Former Students

Ken Schoolland presenting in China to Northeastern University summer camp scholars

Associate Professor of Economics Ken Schoolland traveled to China in July, delivering a series of lectures in Shenyang at the 2019 Northeastern University Summer Camp of International Economics and Management Scholars. Representing eight countries, 200 students attended the 10th annual event. Schoolland also conducted a Free Market Road Show through cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Dali, Lijiang, Guilin, Yangzhou, and Shanghai, presenting and leading discussions about “Economic Freedom and Prosperity.” During these events, he reconnected with his former HPU students, Per Bylund, Denis Mannschatz, Chen Fengding, Frank Piao, and Lin Linfeng.
