Career Development Team Selected to Present Annual ‘All Association of Colleges and Employers' Webinar

The Hawai‘i Pacific University Career Development Center team, Michael Van Lear, director, Ryan Tin Loy, senior career advisor, and Kelly Primacio, career development coordinator, developed a presentation entitled “Delivering Career Development to a Diverse Student Population: Programming That Supports Every Student’s College-to-Career Transition,” which was selected by the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (MPACE) as the 2019 “All Association of Colleges and Employers” webinar. MPACE representatives chose the  HPU presentation among 45 conference presentations, noting its relevance for universities throughout the country.

The HPU team presented on Wednesday, March 6, sharing with webinar participants the assessment of the effectiveness of their career programming and the subsequent discovery of an opportunity to be more resourceful in how they support students through their college-to-career transition. Tin Loy, Primacio and Van Lear (pictured from left to right) first delivered their presentation at the MPACE annual conference they attended in Anaheim, California, from December 12-14, 2018.
