Randolph Goldman, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Mathematics

Randolph Goldman, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Mathematics, knew that a career at HPU would grant him the freedom to design and implement new curriculum as well as explore the potential of students. Since coming on board in Fall of 2004, Goldman has taught 23 different prep classes, created five new courses, and built an outstanding logic program that offers more courses than most universities. Goldman is passionate about mentorship and provides ambitious and talented individuals the opportunity to master high-level undergraduate and even graduate material, equipping them for transition into prestigious graduate programs.

Goldman is also committed to his students’ success in the local community, engaging in work such as tutoring and teaching. A proponent of mixing active participation with lecture, he wants his students to walk away with a sense of wonder and a feeling of empowerment from understanding mathematical methodology.
