Presenting #MeToo Monologues

In collaboration with Playbuilders of Hawaii and End Sex Abuse, Hawai‘i Pacific University is proud to present its first production of the #MeToo Monologues! 

The “MeToo” movement is all encompassing and supports every aspect of human decency and equality.  Our monologues reflect this diversity in stories about identity, which were submitted by members of our own HPU community.  Since its conception we have realized the importance and value in these stories and their meanings. Our hope is that this experience builds a platform for creating deeper understanding and empathy, fostering dialogue, healing, and providing a sense of unity that the two simple words of “me too” can provide.  

Come and support your community as we share in a night of coming together to say “me too.”  We look forward to bringing these stories out of the dark and into the spotlight at the following performances: 

  • Friday, April 27th at 8:00PM:  Paul and Vi Loo Theatre
    • Free Admission
    • Hawaii Loa Campus, Academic Center (3rd floor)
  • Saturday, April 28th at 8:00PM:  Kumu Kahua Theater
    • $5 Admission:  Proceeds go to Kumu Kahua Theater and Hawai‘i Pacific University

  • Sunday, April 29th at 4:00PM:  Paul and Vi Loo Theatre
    • Free Admission
