HPU Participates in Tourism Day

COB and TIMSO reps at HLTA expo at capitol

Individuals representing the university’s College of Business (COB), Career Development Center (CDC) and the Travel Industry Management Student Organization (TIMSO) attended the Hawai’i Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA)-sponsored Tourism Day event held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Hawai’i State Capitol. The Hawai’i Pacific University team had the opportunity to share information with legislators and business leaders about HPU and its programs.

As a representative of the state of Hawai’i’s number-one industry, tourism, HPU was invited by HLTA to participate in the mini trade show.
