Honor Societies

Alpha Chi National Honor Society

Purpose: To encourage sound scholarship and devotion to truth, not only among members but among all students on chapter campuses.

Open to all academic fields.

Eligible candidates must:
  • Be currently enrolled in any undergraduate program at HPU.
  • Have completed a minimum of 30 college-level semester credits at HPU, excluding courses listed below 1000.
  • Have earned 60 college-level semester credits towards a baccalaureate degree.
  • Be in the top 10% of the junior (60–89 credits) or senior 90+ credits) class based on HPU GPA.

HPU’s chapter of Alpha Chi carries out its own membership selection process independent of the HPU application process and following national regulations. The Alpha Chi review occurs each March and October, and students who meet the eligibility requirements receive their membership invitation through their @my.hpu.edu email address.

Membership fee of $65 to be paid upon notification of acceptance.
