The Career Services Center at Hawaii Pacific University has played an integral part in my career; I highly recommend the staff and their services. I could not have done it without them and I am extremely grateful for their support and service.

Services for Alumni

As an alumnus/a of Hawai‘i Pacific University, services from the Career Services Center are available to you at any point in your career.  Please contact us to schedule a one-on-one appointment with a career counselor.  If you are not able to come to our office for an appointment, a phone appointment can be arranged.  We also encourage you to stay connected through the Alumni Office and its many programs.

Career Services Advisors
Our career services advisors are available to meet with you to discuss job search strategies, career transitioning, effective salary negotiation, and more.

Job Search Resources
HPU Connect is our job search website which is available exclusively to HPU students and alumni.

Resume & Cover Letter Assistance
Need help with updating your resume and cover letter?  Our Tool Kit includes valuable information to assist you.  Need personalized assistance?  Contact our office to schedule an appointment with a counselor or check our Career Events Calendar for our monthly Resume Workshops.

Mock Interviews
Be prepared for that big interview!  In a Mock Interview, you will be interviewed by a Career Service Adivisor and filmed.  You will be asked traditional and behavioral interviewing questions and asked to respond as if in an actual job interview.  The advisor can tailor the interview to a specific position or industry if you request this in advance.  Review the video following the interview and gain valuable insight and tips on how to improve your interview skills and performance.

Assessment Tools
The CSC offers the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory assessments.  For a fee of $15.00 for the MBTI and $10.00 for the Strong, students and alumni can take these assessments on-line and receive a comprehensive profile report based on your answers.  A follow-up appointment is scheduled with a Career Services Advisor to review your results.  Payment for the assessments is accepted by credit card (online) via a secured website.

Career Events
The Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Career Fairs, Employer Information Sessions, On-campus Recruiting, Professional Development Workshops, and more.  Stay up to date with our Career Events Calendar or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
