The Hawaii's Better Business Bureau (BBB) Touch Awards program had the BBB Touch Awards for Ethics 2017 on March 31, 2017, at the Sheration Waikiki and shows HPU's current and future influence in Hawaii's Business Community. Shota Mkheidze, a 2009 MBA graduate from HPU and CEO-President of Honey Bee Cleaners, LLC, was awarded the "Touch Award for Ethics in the small business category." Professor Jerry Agrusa Ph.D., Shota Mkheidze, and Patrick Matthews, a current MBA student at HPU, were present at the award ceremony.
