Experience HPU Microsite Wins CASE Gold Award of Excellence

Congratulations to the University Marketing and Communication team, this time for winning a pair of Gold Awards of Excellence from the Council for the Advancement & Support of Education (CASE) District VII.  The awards recognized:

  • The Experience HPU website/digital portal, which you’ll recall was also recognized recently in the Higher Education Marketing Report’s national Digital Marketing Awards.  Runners up in this Digital Communications: Websites – Individual Sub Websites category included Pepperdine (silver) and Northern Arizona (bronze).
  • The “Not just an education. An adventure.” collateral and campaign in the Marketing – Student Recruitment Publications Packages category.  Runners up included USC (silver) and La Sierra University (bronze).

Judges for this competition included colleagues from Berkeley, UC San Diego, UC Davis, UC Riverside, the University of Arizona Foundation, BYU and several other leading institutions.  In conveying the award, CASE judges pointed out the “tremendous number of entries” that their annual competition drew this year, and noted that the excellence of the two HPU efforts “stood out among the best.”

Kudos to AVP Sita Chhabra, other contributors from the University Marketing and Communications team and colleagues from Admission, all of whom joined forces to produce these and other fresh new collateral pieces for HPU in a short period of time and in conjunction with collaborators from Stamats in multiple locations around the world.  Great work, everyone!
