Tuition

 


International students are required by U.S. Immigration to be full-time students during the fall and spring semesters: Undergraduates must be registered for twelve (12) credits (4 courses), of which ONLY one course (3 credits) can be online; graduate students must be registered for nine (9) credits (3 courses), of which ONLY one course (3 credits) can be online. Registering for less-than full-time MUST be authorized by an International Student Advisor (ISA).

Tuition due date: Generally, tuition is paid at the beginning of each semester. Students may pay tuition before they arrive at HPU (see tuition payment options) or upon their arrival.

Total costs for the 2010-2011 academic year (9 months) are estimated at:

Full-time Tuition (for most majors) $ 15, 720
Living Expenses (food, housing, utilities) $ 11, 648
College-related Expenses* $   3,092
Total  $ 30, 460

*College-related Expenses include books, health insurance, transportation (bus pass), technology fee ($ 50 per semester), and orientation fee ($100 for fall and $40 for spring).

A payment for full-time undergraduate tuition covers charges for 12-16 credits. Credits above that range will be charged at the following rate:

Summer Sessions


The tuition for winter and summer sessions is determined on a per-credit basis. Winter and summer sessions are optional for all students!

Graduate Tuition Schedule

Graduate Most Majors MBA MSMS
  $ 700 per credit $ 710 per credit $ 980 per credit

Full-time status for a graduate student is nine credits. However, it is common for full-time graduate students to take 12 credits per semester. Tuition for graduate students enrolled in fall and spring semesters is determined on a per-credit basis. Tuition for the optional winter and summer sessions is also determined on a per-credit basis.
