Programs of Study

As a study-abroad student you are able to enroll in any combination of classes (depending on your academic level) from academic courses taught in HPU's undergraduate or graduate programs.

For fall or spring semesters, undergraduate students typically enroll in four to five courses. Please note that due to visa regulations, undergraduates MUST be registered for a minimum of  twelve (12) credits (4 courses), of which ONLY one course (3 credits) can be online.

Graduate students typically enroll in three to four courses.
Please remember that due to visa regulations, graduate students MUST be registered for nine (9) credits, of which ONLY one course (3 credits) can be online.

To register for less-than full-time, you MUST meet with an International Student Advisor (ISA). Knowing your responsibilities as an F-1 student is important: please click
here for more information.

Selection of classes should be made
only from current
class-offering lists which are posted for each academic term at least three months prior to its start. Check here for semester dates.
