Hawai‘i Pacific University recently hosted Dr. Myung Oh, president of Konkuk University, one of HPU’s international partner institutions. Oh is the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information and Science of the Republic of South Korea. Oh is known as the “Father of Information Technology” in Korea.
The Konkuk University Seoul Campus is the largest private university in Seoul. It is comprised of 15 colleges and 11 graduate schools, offering a diverse range of subjects. The Konkuk Choongju Campus consists of seven colleges and two graduate schools. The two campuses have almost 26,000 students from all around the world.
HPU President Chatt G. Wright and Dr. Oh welcomed more than 45 of HPU’s Korean students and attended a reception at the Hawai‘i Loa campus.
