There are times when I step back and realize just how amazing HPU really is.

The level of individual attention given to each student is exceptional. Even before I enrolled at HPU I was already in contact with a student advisor who assisted me in making certain that all my credits would be transferable. Now that I am a student here, I’ve even had the opportunity to sit down with the dean a couple of times and discuss my courses.

I have made friends with students from all over the world, and we learn so much from each other. I found that I am not only improving my English, but through the friendships I’ve made with many Brazilian students, I am now beginning to speak Portuguese too.

There are so many opportunities to get involved with school events. HPU has a wide variety of clubs; I am a member of the Travel Industry Management Club, which is of particular value, being consistent with my major.

My time at HPU has been very stimulating. It is enriched with the true sense of the Aloha spirit.
