Ashley was born and raised in Hawai'i and wanted to pursue graduate studies close to home.

“I completed my undergraduate degree at Hawai'i Pacific University and enjoyed the small class sizes and the personal interaction with my professors."

"Graduate level classes at HPU provide hands-on opportunities and real-life situations. I like the atmosphere of the school as well as the communication program.”

In addition to her graduate studies, she volunteers at a non-profit organization that helps provide child-care services; and has also started her own business called Iaea Designs Corporation.
