After finishing my A-level studies in Singapore, I was looking for a place to study Marine Science. I met an HPU Admissions Counselor at a fair in my country who told me about available scholarships and transfer credit options. I applied right away, and after being accepted, I received a 50% scholarship and got credit for many of my A’level exams. In my classes I love that I get real, practical experience – like boating, mapping and research skill development in my oceanography classes. Also, in my laboratory courses we often get to work with live specimen from the area. I am interested in doing marine biology research for my career, so it is really great to get a taste of it already in my undergraduate studies.
From applying to starting my studies and on towards completing my degree, I know I made the right choice to study at HPU.
